First off, I got so busy that I forgot to mention that if you go to your usual streaming sites (Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, etc.) there are 6 of my solo albums posted and ready for you to stream/purchase! I did an "album dump" in August, and now basically all the albums I've recorded during "the plague" are out. Here's a little info about them:
* "15 Minutes" - a quick little mini album that I did earlier this year. The song "Some Place Some Time" is already a staple in my acoustic shows.
* "IRL EP" - Another mini album that I did last fall. 3 really cool little songs.
* "Campfire Sessions" - A group of songs where the initial ideas were written on breaks at my summer camp gig. "Let's Go" has been played at acoustic shows, and "The Ghosts Are Real" is pretty creepy...
* "Project 26" - Literally it's solo album #26! That should give you an idea of how much more older music I have to release now. "Show Me The Way" is a standout song here, as well as "Scorched Earth Confessional."
* "25@50" - My 25th album, recorded the year I turned 50. Symmetry, don't ya think? My faves on this one are "Amused and Abused," "100 Years In One," and most definitely "The Process!"
* "Universal" - Written right as things locked down, this album kept me sane for the first part of the lockdowns. LOVE the title track! Other standouts are "More Questions Than Answers," "Big Picture," "Riverside," and the epic 17 minute long "The Fable Of Baby Jane," which is one of my all time fave songs of mine.
CHECK THESE ALBUMS OUT!!
I'll be doing another "album dump" this week, and there are going to be some great albums in this batch...
In band news...well...I have left Reckless Kind as of this last weekend. The breakup was sort of unexpected. I say sort of because a couple weeks ago Scott and I both let the rest of the band know that we were going to be leaving at the end of this month to concentrate on other projects, and we were going to stay on through the end of this month to give them time to find replacements. Long story short, things blew up over the weekend and the band is apparently done. I wish Louie and Tony all the best in what they do moving forward, whether it's continuing with RK or doing something new. Scott and I are still playing together in Limerock, so it's all good.
Limerock is starting to really come together as far as me and Scott starting to really gel with the other guys and find our collective sound. Think people will be happy with how what the other guys are calling "Limerock 2.0" is going to end up sounding like.
Electric Mayhem has been getting pretty busy as well. Playing a lot of shows in the last couple months, a lot of them down in the Keys, which have been super fun. We actually make our debut at Gilberts Resort this weekend. Gilbert's is one of the most popular spots down in Key Largo and I'm looking forward for that one!
I've also had a nice run of acoustic shows with Daisy as well. Mostly down in the keys again, and we've been having a lot of fun doing them. Not sure how many more are going to come up outside of the ones listed, but I'm hoping that I get to do them at least every other month or so.
The only downside of all the shows I've been doing is that I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on new music. I did have a broad theme for an album, but lately I'm not as keen on it as I was earlier this year, and I have a new idea that is starting to get the inspiration going, and I may run with that idea and do the other one later. Right now I just need a little time to start putting ideas into songs now. Soon, I say... soon I say...
No other news to report at this time, so I'm going to sign off for now. Look for new dates on the "Upcoming Gigs" page, as well as a full Discography Page soon!
THAT IS ALL...TB
