Been a fairly busy spring so let me try to get everything caught up...
Limerock:
We've been busy with a pretty steady run of shows since January. The last few have been REALLY good too. We have a little bit of a break now, and it looks like we're starting to figure out some new adds to the show, now that we have pretty much settled into the new lineup. Should be fun to get some new songs into the set, so that we can really start mixing things up. Still some talk about doing original material as well, but as of now nothing big to report on in that department.
Electric Mayhem:
Mayhem has also been keeping busy as well. Some of our dates may turn into duo shows with Daisy and I though. We're waiting to hear about that, and should have news on that in the next few days. The other new wrinkle with EM is that Jose, our original keyboard player, has rejoined the band as a second guitar and additional vocal, making us a 6 piece now. We debuted the new lineup at a benefit show that Limerock and Mayhem participated in called "Frito Fest" that ended up being a huge blast to play at. EM is live this upcoming Sunday at Glades Club, so if ya have gas in South Florida, come on out!
Solo Album work:
It's been a little slow going on the new album. I have 8 songs done, and another 4 that are ready to be recorded. Problem is, I really haven't had the time to actually sit down and record them. And, on the occasion where I've had the time, I was too tired from work and gigs and the whole "adulting" thing. I know that once I start working on them they will get done pretty quickly, so I'm going to get on them starting tonight. I'm still getting the next batch of older albums ready to put up on streaming, and that should (SHOULD!) happen in the next few weeks. The big thing I have to do now is after years of doing just MIDI playbacks of my "classical" pieces, I finally figured out how to get higher quality versions of the songs. With that, I'm going to be going back to the original files of those songs and basically "remixing" them with a better sound library. I really can't wait to hear what they'll sound like now. Plus, I can also get the "Electric Symphony" out into the world, as I've been sitting on it for a while now. So the plan going forward is to get the old albums up, the "classical" ones remixed and up, release the Symphony, and get the new album done all by summer...HOPEFULLY!!
No other news yet on the other projects that are going on at this point, so this feels like a good place to stop. The Gig Calendar is going to be updated tonight, so keep an eye out for that, as well as some new pictures going up soon...
THAT IS ALL....TB
